Lead Junkie

Empty trucks

Empty HVAC trucks are the expensive part

HVAC owners obsess over ad dashboards and ignore the truck in the lot. A tech who’s paid to sit is the campaign. Marketing that doesn’t book work isn’t “branding.” It’s you funding empty hours.

I grew an electric and HVAC shop with my own marketing spend. Real tests, not theory. How Lead Junkies got built.

Don’t measure the wrong thing

Clicks, leads, even call volume can look fine while the board is light. Booked jobs, show rate, and close rate are the numbers. If a channel fills the day with estimates that never land, that’s still an empty-truck problem with extra steps.

I’m not going to list service packages with dollar amounts on this site. The quote depends on the shop. The point of the call is whether ads, SEO, or follow-up would actually move the calendar.

Shoulder season vs summer

Southeast summers hide a lot of sloppy marketing. Shoulder season doesn’t. Memberships, tune-ups, and the list you already paid for are how you keep trucks from sitting in April — not another marketplace.
