HVAC website design

HVAC website design that can catch the click

Most HVAC websites are a 2014 brochure and a form that emails nobody. If you run Meta, TikTok, Google, or SEO into that, you are paying to leak. I build contractor sites that need the phone to ring.

I grew an electric and HVAC shop with my own marketing spend. Real tests, not theory. How Lead Junkie got built.

What the page has to do

I grew an electric and HVAC shop with my own marketing spend — Joey’s $750k testing channels while the shop grew about $2.1M → $7M. Lead Junkie is built from that operator experience, not a template marketplace. Joey’s shop (Air Quality AC) is separate; these are not client case studies. About.

An HVAC site is a dispatch tool in a browser. Minimum bar:

  • Say what you do — HVAC, electric if you run it, residential focus if that’s the book
  • Say where you run — counties and cities you actually roll, not a fantasy map
  • Click-to-call above the fold on mobile — Southeast homeowners are hot and impatient
  • A form that hits a real inbox (or CRM) — FormSubmit, HCP, whatever you use — that a human sees in minutes
  • Service pages for repair, replacement, maintenance / memberships
  • Fast on a phone in a driveway — if it takes eight seconds to load, you lost the job to the next ad
  • Real photos of trucks, techs, and jobs — not stock family-and-thermostat heroes that could be any trade

Ads and SEO need somewhere honest to land

Pair the site with how you generate demand: HVAC lead generation, Google Ads, Meta ads.

Emergency search → land on a no-cool / repair page with the phone screaming. See AC not cooling ads. Changeout offer → estimate path, not a vague “comfort solutions” blob. Meta Instant Form or Messenger traffic → confirmation / trust page that doesn’t contradict the ad. Forms vs chat: Meta Forms vs Messenger for HVAC. Organic → HVAC SEO only works if the page can convert.

If speed-to-lead is broken, a pretty site still burns money.

What we refuse to ship

Website work is scoped to the shop. Product depth lives on website services — this page is the keyword money page for owners searching HVAC website design.

  • Doorway city spam with identical copy
  • Fake review widgets
  • AI stock photo grids with no copy (looks “SEO,” books nobody)
  • Hidden phone numbers “to force form fills”
  • Public “website packages” that ignore your stack and capacity

Rebuild vs conversion pass

Sometimes the site just needs conversion and service pages. Sometimes it’s a rebuild. We decide on the call after looking at mobile speed and click-to-call, whether service pages match jobs you sell, whether forms/calls reach a live human, and whether GBP and the site tell the same NAP story.

Website pricing is scoped to the shop

Website work is scoped to the shop, so there is no flat website price. The published monthly plans — Google Ads, SEO, and Meta + TikTok Ads — are on the pricing page. Get a quote. We’ll talk what you have now and whether ads even make sense until the site can convert.

Proof from Joey’s shop

Joey didn’t buy a theory. He spent $750k of his own marketing budget learning which clicks become trucks while growing electric + HVAC roughly $2.1M to $7M. When Meta tests booked 31 customers on $1,800 and 25 on $700 (Joey’s shop), the site and follow-up had to catch them — otherwise those numbers are screenshots, not revenue.

FAQ

Do you redesign existing HVAC sites?
Sometimes the site just needs conversion and service pages. Sometimes it’s a rebuild. We decide on the call.
Can you build for Housecall Pro / online booking?
We align the site with how you already book — phone-first, form-to-CRM, or booking tools you use. The job is fewer leaks, not a prettier PDF.
Will a new site rank by itself?
A site is the foundation. Rankings need SEO work, reviews, and time. Ads need the site on day one.
Do you include copy and photos?
Copy should sound like your trucks. Photos should be real company media when possible — not more AI junk. Bring what you have; we’ll say what’s missing.
How is this different from /services/websites?
`/hvac-website-design` = search/money page. `/services/websites` = product depth. Cross-link both.
